Vaca!

So, its been a long time since I've updated you on our life so let's catch up!

Two weekends ago we went to Memphis for Brooke and Daniel's couple shower on Friday night and then Brooke's Bridal tea on Sunday. It was so much fun being on the other side of things watching them go through everything Todd and I did! We were so excited we were able to be in town for it. We also got to see their new apt which is going to be AMAZING! I can't wait to see it all finished.
With this past weekend being Daniel's Bachelor party in New Orleans, I decided to stay through the whole week in Memphis and come back Sunday when Todd got home from New Orleans. It was sooo great being home for longer than three days and getting to spend so much time with my family (I just wish Todd could have been there, too!). Mom and I, of course, worked out every day. She and dad have been finishing up their 3rd month of P90X and she has also started Insanity. So Monday I went to her morning bootcamp and then that afternoon we did Insanity. Needless to say, I could not walk (literally) the next day! It took me 30 mins just to get to the point to where I could stand straight up my calves were so tight! And stubborn me continued to work out walking for an hour Tuesday, doing bootcamp again Wednesday and finally on Thursday I did nothing and was not sore anymore! (I guess I need to push myself a little harder when I work out without mom, huh) Chita and Frank, my aunt and uncle that are missionaries in Chile, were also in town for the week. It was great seeing them and the fam had a huge pool party Saturday for them. They haven't been in Memphis since our wedding and won't be back again until Christmas.

Now back in our life in Manhattan, we are getting ready for Todd's first Kansas State football game! We play UCLA as our opener Saturday afternoon at 2:30. He has three of his clients, one of his biggest, coming and doing things at this game so he will get to see right off the bat how busy he will be at games! I'm so excited for football season to start, but it is going to be so weird missing Alabama games and watching them on DVR....no one spoil the ending for us! :)
My job is slowly developing. I had another meeting with them yesterday, this time with the newly hired Fitness Director. I'm hoping to hear by the end of the week that I got the job and can start Tuesday....I'm sooooo ready! I'll keep you posted on the news!

Heading now to meet Todd to get me some purple for these football games!
Much Love!
